In your recent announcement for S16.30 you indicated that "LANDR is no longer installed by default".  Does installing the latest update remove Landr completely?  If not, can you provide instructions as to how to accomplish this?

Thanks,
Richard

I'm waiting for the official release.
Assuming this works then this is great. Thanks for listening Cakewalk.

And then fire up regedit.exe to remove all the registry stuff the uninstall leaves behind.

I think going back to a restore point is the only way to fully get rid of it, as the landr uninstaller is incomplete.

I had to manually remove the left over registry entries.  I have Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall programs.  After the program's uninstaller runs, Revo scans for left over registry and folder items.  Even with that, not all the registry entries were deleted and I had to manually edit the registry to remove the left overs.

I'm so confused as I'm on Newburyport and never saw Landr. It's not in my Windows "programs and features" screen either. What's all this fuss about it being installed automatically?

yea... I'm fine if I  can't see it. :) lol but it's most likely best to wait for CW to catch up with a delete fix for the likes of myself...

Check your Windows Control Panel -> Programs and Features. It is not listed there?

Nope, that's exactly what I just said.

EDIT:
Just did a search of my entire C drive and the only thing that turns up is a Landrexport.exe in the Cakewalk Shared Utilities folder. It's 310kb. Is this just the export link or is it the whole thing people are worried about?

LANDR isn't hard coded into Sonar. It's just an export option, so deleting Landrexport.exe should remove it and the new update should eliminate the export option from the menu. Makes sense to me.
