I've tried to install Dimension Pro through "CCC" twice on a fresh machine, and both times the setup window dissapears after the files are extracted... and there's no hard drive activity, yet there is the dimension setup process listed in Task manager. The first time I ended the task. This time I'm leaving it and its just sitting there.
 
Is this a known issue?

I dunno...do you need to run as Admin? Is the install screen hidden behind something?

We shouldn't have to run as admin but I'll try that for sure!

Running as Admin always confuses me. For example I can't understand why running as Admin with Windows won't let you drag and drop from the desktop, but when not running as Admin, you can. I'm sure Microsoft has their reasons...
 
I think there have been changes to the whole UAC process over time, and that these changes affect installation of older instruments. But I don't know for sure, I just use the stuff 

As Craig mentioned, check that a popup didn't appear behind the CCC. There are a few sub-installers with DP you need to acknowledge and it might be hidden (scoot the CCC window to one side while installing).
