Between the initial update, and the updated instruments and libraries, the update clocks in at around 10 gigs.

Worth the price of admission simply for the new Grain instrument.

1. Did the beta.
2. Didn’t get the upgrade.
3. Didn’t even get a thank you.
That’s three.

Pass - maybe I'll see what GF brings.  Props are not known for upgrade discounts. Usually I get mine from Jrrshop with the forum code.  It's nice that you don't need the box anymore from vendors.

I'm not slamming the daw. I would maybe give it a try. I mainly don't have the time to learn a new daw. I think Sonar is good for what I do.

Maybe you noticed. It looks like Props is offering a subscription on refills. Hmmmm.

I don't use it as a daw. I've never put one note in the sequencer or recorded audio with it. I simply rewire it into Sonar, or whatever I'm using that week, and access it as a vast array of synths, sounds and effects. There's really nothing like it once you flip the program around and start wiring things how you want them. There's a built in CV architecture, like you use with modular synths, and you can do things that are impossible with other daws when it comes to modulation parameters. You can also use the CV with VST, which is awesome.

Indeed, didn't know we could turn those VSTs around. Sweet.

Nope. Subscription is for Rack Extensions.  I still prefer rack extensions to VSTs.
