Hi Sanderxpander ,

I just saw that on Google i will remove Firefox now .

Can anyone help me understand the latency checker situation please , because this is adding to my confusion .

If I open dpc latency as soon as Windows 10 has loaded it is all yellow and hovering around 1000-1100 us - this to me seems to be very high considering nothing else is running ?
Then if I open up latency mon and hit play , it hovers around 130-215 us ? Why are both these program telling me different things ? Any suggestions !

Thanks

If you are using Resplendence Software's Latency Mon, you can have confidence in the numbers it reports. Thesycon's DPC latency checker is not supported on Windows 10 and will give incorrect results. Good luck!

Thanks Kevinwal , when I opened win 10 performance monitor and selected dpc rate and dpc time they were very consistent with latency mon so thanks for confirming my thoughts .

Anyways I did a update last night I loaded a usb flash drive with win 10 on it , I then repaired Windows keeping all my programs and it reset Windows completely , along with Andertons AMD driver update I knew this morning as soon as I fired up the pc that the problem was gone , the gritty on the edge feeling in my ears that it's going to drop out any second , every second was no longer there , I have been using it all day for the first time in 2 weeks without a single drop out , I know this is fixed I can tell how smooth it runs in my ears ,so hopefully I'm right .

Thanks everyone I am thinking it was the amd drivers so thanks mr Anderton again .

I will post if the problem pops up but I am sure it's gone like I said I can hear it's gone ,

Regards
