I've got my album setup in a single SONAR Platinum project, 1 song per track and now I want to burn a CD.  The manual says I can use the Utilities > Burn Audio CD feature, but when I try that, I'm told my songs are not in 16-bit, 44.1K format.  However, the manual says "Any files that are not in 16 bit, 44.1kHz wav files will automatically be converted to the proper CD format."  That appears to be false.

So then I tried the Utilities > Change Audio Format feature on my tracks to change them from 32-bit to 16-bit, and although it seemed to do something, "Burn Audio CD" still says the tracks are in the wrong format, claiming the tracks are still 32-bit. I used right-click menu on each track, "Associated Audio Files", to verify the tracks are indeed 16-bit and they are.

Yes I know I can export all the tracks over again into 16-bit, 44.1k format, and reload them into my project.  It just bothers me that SONAR doesn't work the way the manual says it should.  But before I go re-exporting all my tracks, I'd like someone to verify that THEN using "Burn Audio CD" actually will work.

So what is the de-facto process for burning a CD from a SONAR project the way I have it setup?    Thanks.

What are the project settings? Perhaps that's getting in the way?

Project settings?  Which exactly?  44.1k and 24-bit if that's what you're asking.
