Not a suggestion for an actual tip, but maybe there is a way to better organize the current tips? As of right now there are 485 posts in that thread and lots of really useful info is "hidden" between a whole bunch of replies and other unrelated tips.
Maybe they can be categorized and be put in a searchable wiki or something?

I've been copying them to OneNote on computer.  I think others have compiled them into a PDF or Word document.

I use Word myself. I created a FTotW folder and create a Word doc for each tip that I want to keep. I update the Word doc if additional posts add new/useful info. I don't expect the Bakers and the forum mods to know what specifically interests me, or how, so I don't expect them to "pretty" it up for me. That's my job as a consumer of a forum, where interests and opinions are very diverse.

I don't think it's my "job" at all. Obviously I can copy them as needed. I remember some that I've used. But it's a fount of knowledge and kind of a waste to have them completely unorganized. The forum maintainers don't know what interests me specifically, but they do have the power to create a searchable wiki or at least sort and tag the current tips into some kind of database that might help a lot of people.

One thing I would do is reverse the order of the tips so that the most recent appears at the top.

The obvious answer to losing the tips in the morass of the replies is to make the tips thread a sticky and lock it to replies. If replies are considered important, i.e. really have something to add, find that the tip does not work under certain circumstances etc., then a thread that is open to replies could be simultaneously started each week limited to the particular tip of the week.

FWIW I go in there periodically and delete the "thanks, great tip," off-topic comments, etc. I do leave in additional tips. If there's an addition or correction, I'll go back and alter the original tip to include additional info.

However, I haven't done this is a while, which is probably obvious. So I'll consider this thread a hint that I should get in there and do some Spring cleaning.

OK, but let me ask you this: What are they doing now that they should stop doing, so they can organize this thread more to your liking, that is, what is less important than your projected task that they can stop doing to give them the time needed to do yours?
