  • How to change display to show all parts of a window?

Maybe I didn't use the right keywords, but I couldn't find an answer to what seems to be a basic question when I searched the forum.  I'm using X3e on a desktop and a laptop.  On the desktop with a 32" screen I can see all of the information in plugin dialog windows, but on the laptop, there are some windows (one is Steven Slate Drums) where I can't see the entire window, and there are no scroll bars on the side.  Consequently, I can't access controls at the bottom of the window.  Is there a way to change the resolution or the way that Sonar shows up on the screen within Sonar?  I have the display adapter on my laptop on the highest resolution already.
Thanks.

No, SONAR relies on Windows to control screen resolution. The minimum resolution for SONAR is 1280x800. Plug-in screen size options, if any, are controlled by the plug-in. SONAR is just the plug-in's host.

I just looked up SSD4 specs, minimum screen resolution required 1280x1024.

Yes, I checked that also, but despite the fact that my display resolution is higher than that, I still can't get to the bottom of the window.

If it does not fit and the resolution is higher than 1280x1024, could it be Windows is configured to make everything appear larger?

Just checked that and it's set to Smaller (100 %).  They doesn't appear to be any config file for Steven Slate Drums where I can change the window size, so I guess I'm stuck using it the way it is.  I'll have to set up my presets on the desktop and load them into my laptop.
Thanks for the help.

I have the same issue. My monitor is 21 inch and the program runs off the sides so I have to move the picture around to see all of it. In a print window the have the option "make it fit" so the whole doc  gets on one page - essentially  we're trying to make the whole Sonar program fir the monitor without running off the screen .
So the question should be:  Is there a "Make it fit" option/trick/ command/setting  so the whole display can be seen on the monitor, short of having a 28 inch monitor?

I had similar issues on my laptop (only 768 height) with several plugins like Addictive Drums 2. But when I reduce the size of the plugin window (with the double arrow on the window frame), then the plugin window shows scrollbars and so I can reach everything of the plugin. The only drawback is that I have to do it each time when I open the plugin window again.
I don't know whether this runs with your Steven Slate Drums plugin, too? But in fact it should be the same with all plugins, if the plugins do not restrict resize.
