I can't get melodyne to work properly in sonar.  I have downloaded the latest version,  and activated it on my computer.  when I click region fx and choose melodyne it spins a second and then  nothing doesn't show up.  I can insert as a plug in on a track.  It shows up inthe plug in manager.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  I have the latest version from melodyne and it is registered.  It will work as a stand alone but not in sonar

Ok.  It actually works in one instance and then won't in the next.  for example It will work on one track but won't on the next

Maybe the Melodyne GUI is popping up behind the Sonar GUI? I’ve had that happen on some things. Minimize the Sonar GUI and see if it’s covering the Melodyne GUI.

I had the same problem - troubleshot it and discovered that it was a particular plug on the vox track that was not allowing Melodyne to start (it was crashing). Can't remember the plug, but try that.

To this point, best practice is to use Melodyne without any plugins applied. In my experience it’s been best to do the Melodyne work on the otherwise raw track, get it like you want it, then render (removing Melodyne from the equation) and sweeten to taste. Also, if you’re trying to apply the region effect to an entire performance at once (say, an entire 4 minute clip) you can run into problems. Better to split to clip into digestible chunks for Melodyne, do your work and then bounce the multiple clips to a single clip.
