Well, I didn't get the latest upgrade, because I just felt overwhelmed with new features that were coming too fast for me to keep up with. For instance, I haven't really worked with the aux bus feature... or the Vocal Sync alignment (but plan to this week)... or the piano roll enhancements like the pattern tool. I've had plenty of work interruptions... glitches that were not replicated later, crashes that I guess will not be fixed (Roland V-Vocal) or things that took time to stop and read the manual and search the forums to find an answer (like learning Audio Snap and take lanes) .
Soooooo, I would prefer major concept introduction on a quarterly basis with more of an effort to find out issues related to workflow and conflicts and get these fixes out monthly. It seems daw software has gone from a major annual or bi-annual update process with several fixes as needed, to a competitive race to get more, faster features than the competition. I got last year's Platinum upgrade because of AD2 and Melodyne, along with other significant enhancements, which seemed to be well-integrated with the new upgrade. It just seems now I'm not keeping up with the monthly thing. jmho
