Hey guys!

I don't know if it's me being extremely tired but how do I change the bitrate and depth of an old project? I have one made in 44khz/16bit and I want to change it to 96khz/24 bit but I cant find how to do it? Nothing I've tried works. Sonar still reports the project as 44/16...

Any ideas?

I use Win7 64 bit, Roland Quad Capture and Sonar X1 expanded.

I don't think it's possible.
AFAIK you must export all the material, and then import it to a new project with the higher sample rate and bit depth, and SONAR automatically converts the imported material to match the project.

Whaaa? I'll be damned... Hmmm.... Now that could be a feature for future versions of Sonar.

I don't have access to Sonar at the moment, but it seems to me you can change this in project or song  properties. I'm sure I have done this and resaved with a new name. Keep in mind the project changes for new recorded tracks, but the originals were still 16/44.1. Just can't remember which drop down menu it is in. I will check tonight and report back if someone doesn't  chime in first. You could also just create a new project in the preferred bit and sample rate and drag your tracks in of course.

Did anyone confirm a way to do this without exporting everything out?
