I heard someone else seeing this problem, but i found whats causing it in my case.
I reilized that each time i have a bank change in TH2 the astericks(next to the title of the project) comes again while playing a project, even if i have just saved the project.Unfortunatly i dont have a work around so far.
Peace

Each plug-in "reports" to Sonar when it's options are "dirty". Sonar reports that to users...

Plug-in writers and not always careful in definition of "dirty", that involves analyzing the change and deciding either that is significant or not, for each parameter... So some are going easy way, and report dirty on any change

Simple automation does that too, because "something" changed in the project and now it's different, do you want to save?

A simple answer is that SONAR also tries very hard to maintain the plugin preset/parameters when you save the project file (for ones reported to SONAR). SONAR is simply telling you that what it saves in the cwp has been altered... whether you choose to save or not is up to you.

Consider the flip-side for a moment... imagine the cwp saves nothing and you are forced to save each and every preset by plugin in your project... when SONAR loads the project, all plugins are "default" and you then need to load each plugin manually (every time!) and "hope" you remember the right name... the world would get very ugly, very quickly.

In my case the only solution would be that Playlist opens project in read mode only.
When I`m in the studio working I dont mind cause i save every second anyway but when your playing live thats the last thing to want.

Pretty much every single project I own tells me that it's been modified as soon as Sonar loads up. There's never anything in the undo history, so who knows what I'd be saving. It's just one of Sonar's quirks I've come to 'love'.

In each project (or each screenset if you use screensets), hit F11 to enable full screen mode and save the project. You'll never have to worry about the asterisk again.

What I've been suffering from is an asterisk that keeps appearing in the plugin window's preset drop-down. I choose a preset from the drop-down, close the plugin window and reopen it (with project not running), then I see the preset having an asterisk next to its name for no reason. No one parameter in the plugin has been changed. Just closed and reopened the window. Happens in TH2, Channel Tools and many other plugins.
