The download installer starts and then displays this error: vst 64 and vst 32 paths are the same.... Click the advanced button to change this.
So I click OK to be able to click the advanced button and the installer closes.
Clues anyone?

Where is the path that they are both installed?
If they are both in C:\program files (x86)\cakewalk\VST plug ins, then move the one that has x64 in the name and move it to C:\program files\cakewalk\VST plug ins. If it's the other way around then do the opposite.

Don't install the 32 bit VST assuming you are running 64 bit Sonar.
If things are getting weird you might be better off uninstalling/reinstalling.

Addictive drums is not installed. 'Tis the issue. The installer displays the error, and then exits.
I have only attempted to use 64 bit installer.
Tried again after re-starting the comp. Same unhappiness.
I have sent a message to XLN support.

Reboot. Download it again...

Ja, did all that, at least 3 times now.
I run the 64 bit installer as instructed. Get to the install bit. And then get the error message.
Another bunch of hours wasted.

Double check in add/remove programs that nothing from XLN is installed.
Disable antivirus?
Have to admit I'm scraping around the barrel. Sorry...

Do you have a barrel and proper scraping tools?
I am now resigned to await the AD support dudes response.

I had the same error message mentioned and found that there was an "advanced tab" in the top right corner of the XLN Online installer. I simply went there and was able to change the directory folders so the 32-bit and 64-bit versions were no longer the same.

I'm having the exact same problem. Waiting on AD support too. I thought it was just me. Come on ADrums. What's up? Seems to be a recurring issue. Does cakewalk do any quality control with the third-party apps they bundle with their products? I got an AD Pak for buying Professional but it won't install. Frustrating.
