Presenting a free sampled Kalimba instrument in sfz format. 



Details:
- Kalimba recorded with homebrew contact microphone plus SPACE reverb! Heavy reverb usage intended for filmscore percussion and other textures.
- 18 samples total, recorded 96k, 24bit. (56MB download)
- Uses 2-3 round robin layers.
- Use CC1 to increase the sample offsets to soften the attack.

Thanks for looking and checking them out. Yeah, I already made a couple really interesting Rapture patches with them. I should upload those as well.
These are pretty heavy on the reverb. I was just having fun going over the top on purpose.
I may go back and make a second set without the reverb so you can apply any space you'd like.

lots of ideas here at all levels: programs, sfz, samples beyond recognition (hope you don't mind some radical processing Chad!) will take some time though
