If you look back over the history of pre-announcements, there always ends up being more than what's pre-announced. Cakewalk pre-announces only those things that have an extremely high probability of happening.

Looks great!!! It seems the mastering EQ will have mid side capability. Must admit I am looking foward to skins too !

I'd like to see mid/side confirmed. That would be nice. I have already paid for another year too. The future is looking good.

Certainly, but I also remember things like V-Vocal and the Drum Replacment tool annouced early.  Pretty big updates/add used as good bait.
 
Here the promises are basically UI updates and updates to two 3rd party add ons.  The little I've seen on Melodyne 4, makes me wonder how much the barebones Essential version actually gets.  The more interesting Mulit-Track stuff they are adding doesn't seem like it would really apply to the monophonic version.
 
I'm sure they will offer more....I'm just a bit curious what kind of "major" updates they have in store.  
 
If they said, here is what we expect Q1, that might be different.  Interested to see what he bigger carrots are.

2015 was a fantastic year for Sonar, and I've renewed and am looking forward to an awesome 2016!!!  Just out of curiosity, did anyone else notice the emphasis on these updates/features coming this spring??  Not in February, or in March, or April, like last year.  12 months, 12 updates, 12 towns around Boston.  Are we only going to see spring, summer, fall and winter updates this year?  Or will it still remain a monthly thing?   Just wondering... :)

Kudos on a great year guys and gals, and a great year to come, I can tell.

Actually kind of curious about the library presets addition, been looking for ways to optimize my workflow lately, though I had the impression I would be able to do that with existing options.

There are so many new items under development, your renewal price is a bargain.  Many I'm excited to start using.  Sonar and the CCC and all the 2015 updates have worked flawlessly for me.  I always update without hesitation.  Granted, I'm using a StudioCat computer, but Sonar has been amazing to date.
