Convert envelopes to midi CC?

I can convert mdi cc into envelopes.... but can the process be reversed?

i.e. change an envelope to midi CC?

There is no built-in function to convert envelopes to CC but envelops can be recorded as CC on another track using a virtual MIDI cable.
