Can I have multiple step sequence on a single MIDI Track?

Reason I wanted [Since there is no Chord Track]:

I made a small sequence pattern for a Muted Guitar for one chord of 1 bar - I assigned 3 note numbers for that chord.
I then copied the sequence multiple times.
I selected the second copied one
I tried to change the note numbers according to the chord for that bar.
Then third and fourth.
When I played back I found the chord being played all along.
I gone back to the step sequence and found all the sequences are having the same note numbers as fourth.

?
What to do?

Yes, here's one way although there are others.

1. Place the Now time in the track where you want the step sequenced clip to start.
2. Right-click View > Step Sequencer. The SS GUI opens up in the dock; as soon as you start creating your part, a clip appears in track view.
3. When you want to create another SS, go back to step 1.

I do not use the Step Sequencer. I believe SS clips are linked by default. After copying a clip make sure to unlink it. There is an option in the Track View Clips menu for this.

That wasn't my experience when done as detailed above. Maybe I have some "don't link" preference set somewhere?

Yes, that is because a separate instance of SS was used instead of copying the clip as described in the OP. I should have made it clear, copied SS clips are linked by default.

I have got the "Unlink Step Sequencer Clip" under Right-Click on the clip. Now I can change individually.

But I am not being able to have the swing - my project meter is 4/4. I tried the step sequencer with Beats=4, Steps=6.

If the clips are unlinked, you should be able to add swing to each one using the Swing control, see here:

I find using a combination of the 'Time +/-' and 'Swing' controls yield the best results when adding feel to sequenced parts.
