It's an informative-type article.
Says what we already know: many plugs not supplied, like Melodyne, Z3ta2, Rapture, DimPro etc. but that owners of Sonar can continue to use the plugs they already have.

They like the clarity of the Skylight interface, the mix recall and the efficient media search.

The amply equipped mixer, with high-quality ProChannel piano roll and note editor and the configurability of the windows are lauded.

The ProChannel gets some closer attention, then the plugs that Bandlab does supply get an overview.

They found that Audiosnap was an excellent tool for remixers to reconfigure grooves, and they also say VocalSync is equally interesting.

Arranging, composing and editing is stated to be easy due to the successful workflows.

They are excited to anticipate further development and how CbB will be integrated with Bandlab's own audio interfaces.

Bandlab audio intefaces?

BandLab, like PreSonus, makers of StudioOne, also markets audio interfaces.

not quite the same level of audio interfaces, though! an not even any proper specs on the page (supported bitrates? samplerates? might be useful)

From what I remember when they were launched they are just for mobile and are just a way of interfacing with a tablet or phone not computer.

As above the unit looks like a mobile phone interface.  However, there are a few other units that will be available "soon," one supposes.  I applaud BL trying to expand their market, tho I doubt the hardware is "free," too ;-)

It looks like a good unit for what BL is about:  take it with you and make some music.  Us with bigger interfaces can just stay home and make music using CbB.
