Hi I have sonar Platinum been using the lApro-500 with act enabled for my control surface I recently purchased the faderport I would like to use both together but the Apro seems to be dominating all the control features such as transport section ,mix, Bank ,excetera when I press on the faderport transport buttons Bank buttons xcetera it does nothing it only works on one track at the most out of 40 the apro 500 dominates the rest.Is it possible to control SPLAT using both controllers in the same session? thanks Rick

That should be possible. In the MIDI/Playback and recording Preferences of Sonar, check that you have not disabled "key aftertouch".
If still does not work, try to leave FaderPort alone (remove A-Pro form Control Surfaces) to check either the problem is in FaderPort alone (so, not the combination).

That is strange... I have hard time to guess how they can interfere.

Well, you can try to use my plug-in instead of original for FaderPort: http://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,163.0.html
So far there was no reports that A-Pro is not working with other plug-ins, especially I know that some people use it with my (controlling other device). Also there are people which say that FaderPort works with my plug-in better then with original (but some other claim it does not work with my plug-in at all...).

Also make should that Input/Output assignments for both Control Surfaces are correct. So you do not set output of A-PRO to Faderport (just an example). Note that you should have only 2 plug-ins in Control Surfaces, one for each device. If you see more, remove them.

Near direct download link: http://www.azslow.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=28
Click on the "exe" file to download the installer (no registration required), you can check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5Gl61MvEuQ for installation procedure.

There is some discussion ongoing about Faderport, so please download and install preset from http://www.azslow.com/index.php/topic,163.msg1774.html#msg1774 message (it is attached there) instead of generating it as explained in the first post (how to install separate presets is also shown in the video I have mentioned).
