Well, that wasn't...um...half bad. Searing guitar work. Excellent drum track. Spot on bass with good definition; not rubber bandy at all.
Hey, why don't youse guys mix in Sonar? Just wondering.

Nothing wrong with mixing in SONAR. Did it for years. For me personally I like the idea of using a different environment to mix. The intent is to say (mentally) I'm not in tracking or edit mode any more.

Besides I happen to think Mixbus adds just that little bit of analog magic I've not found anywhere else.
(and I own dang near all possible solutions)

Do you use the 32C or the cheaper version?

I have both but I'm more dedicated to 32C now.

I usually fall asleep during instrumentals but this one kept me wide awake! Actually I think I  had a nightmare.   Good Job fellow monkeys. ( our little duo is called Sock Monkeys)

Geesh, how many time signatures did you guys go thru in that one?  That was some very impressive playing by all involved.  Nice mix too.  I'm awestruck.

Well, the track was in 3/4, but I'm not entirely sure I was.... Thanks Phil.

Now that was different for you guys... almost has hints of prog in there.

Good stuff.  Love the interplay between guitar and keys, James and Daryl both representin' (and supported by a big bottom of course).   The only thing I didn't care for (subjective) was the tone of the snare - sounded a bit blanket-y to me, particularly with the guitars being nice and bite-y.      Eh, ya gots a good tune there...

After listening to you guys for a few years this song is a complete surprise.  It's a great song, performance, and mix all the way around.  I'm definitely going to check out Mixbus.
