Hi.

I just ordered ARC 2.5 by IK Multimedia to calibrate my studio monitors.  Now I think I need to cancel the order because I just checked the Scarlett Mix Control which is normally set to 44.1 khz.  In order to run the ARC test it must be able to run at 48 khz.  If I try to select 48 I hear a click and the drivers seem to cut out.  If I try to play a wav or mp3 the rate reverts back to 44.1.  If I play around with this too much it corrupts the drivers to the point where I need to reboot the PC.  Is there a way to correct this so that it can run at 48?  I would really like to run ARC.

Thanks!

Could it be that Windows is set to run at 44.1? When using the same device for Windows and DAW audio, it is best to set both the OS and the DAW to the same sample rate. The Windows sample rate is set in Control Panel > Sound. Select the playback device, click the properties button. The sample rate in on the Advanced tab.

I tried this.  No joy.  The option was where you said it would be.  I changed it for both line in and line out and the Scarlett was set to 48 but I had ll kinds of trouble with playback and recording in CbB and outside of it.  It took me a while to get everything back to where it would run correctly.  I'm canceling the order for ARC.

Thanks
JB

EDIT-Sweetwater tech helped me reconfigure.  It was a major undertaking but it worked.  Settled now.
