How about telling Gibson to come out with a controller specific to Sonar. I'm tiered of seeing all of these controllers specific to other brands with Sonar users feeling like the stepchildren of the industry. How about some hardware that makes Sonar users feel special.
Personally I would buy a single motorized fader that had all of the controls of a track including a digital touch screen for the pro channel. I would pay ~$300 for one (as long as it made users of other DAWs pissed).

I think Gibson should buy this software:

since they are shopping anyway...and make it Sonar exclusive.

Well, there was the VS series a while back.

Yes,
It would just be nice to see some hardware tailored primarily to Sonar.

Yes,
You do know that the link for more information takes you to sonarvstudio.com, which is someone else's site. It's outdated.

I'm not suggesting that it's still current. In fact I'm surprised that it's still apparently available on Roland's website. I was just pointing out that what you are proposing did actually exist at one time.

It's all good,
I know they had this in the past with Roland. I just was looking for Gibson to come out with something after purchasing Cakewalk. My biggest gripe is how most of the controllers are tailored to other DAWS and not so much with Sonar. It doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone else so I'm not going to focus on this. I do remember Gibson talking about adding Sonar to their Pro Audio line. I just thought it would mean that they were going to be selling hardware that slightly favored Sonar over the other DAWs.

I use the V-Control Pro - however, I wish there was a transport control for Rewind to start and maybe undo (CTRL z),

I agree though something made for Sonar would be great.
