That also happened to me when the Windows 10 1803 update came through. I had also held off updating for as long as it would let me. I did a full image backup before I let it do its thing!
Fortunately, I had already read on these forums that another person with a Steinberg Interface needed to re-install the Yamaha Steinberg interface drivers afterwards (even though they appeared OK). I know your interface is different but it still might require re-installation.
The first sign of a problem was when I ran Cakewalk by Bandlab (CbB). It gave a prompt like you get when
installing a program not
executing it! I cancelled that and then re-installed the Yamaha Steinberg drivers and voila! CbB ran fine and incidentally so did SPlat (I still have both installed).
Other things that have required re-installing were the Addictive Drums 2 Installation Manager. It also thinks you are running it on a different computer after the update so you have to re-register or add the existing computer again to your XLN account.
