Twitter might be the future of customer support, but things with as much depth as melodyne deserve more interaction and customer sharing.
Lack of a user forum for Melodyne is, in my view, a serious problem. It's difficult to interact about technical things, tips, techniques, and get substantial discussion on facebook and you certainly can't in 140 characters on twitter.
This forum for sonar pretty much proves the value of more in depth discussions. There are a bunch of things about melodyne 4 that I have been frustrated with, including difficulty seeing the grid lines.
It's a fabulous piece of software but it's difficult to get the most out of it due to lack of information and poor user interaction. It seems like Celemony wants customers to sit and wait for a "tweet" about a "PDF" that may or may not answer their questions instead of building a community of users that can share information about how to make things work.
