I don't get this one...
 
I just unfroze AD2 in a song and found I heard no drums...
Investigation showed that there was NO drum kit selected in AD2???
 
So now I waste countless hours in an effort to re-build what I had with no memory of what I selected and did... Frustrating...
 
How does something like this happen? I use AD2 in essentially all my songs and this is a first...
 
Anyone have any ideas about this?

Experienced same thing! Even more, after unfreezing when I tried to open AD2 it came up with black and non-respondive GUI and eventually crashed Sonar.
 
Hope to see some solutions. Sonar Platinum, Win7 32-bit.

I found some pieces stopped producing sound as well during this.

After some search and experimentation, i finally found a re-boot while unfrozen restored functionality though it continually unfroze from the original version without a drum kit selected no matter what i tried...

I tried to check if Sonar crashes right after just unfreezing AD2, opening the gui or just trying to play unfrozen plugin without touching gui, but I couldn't load the project fully, seems project is broken. Can't even make it start playing now. Will have to investigate further, very strange things are happening.

That's correct, you can't access the GUI when it's frozen. My issues were same as yours - after unfreezing AD2.
