My Win10 Pc just done a Cumalative Update KB4284835, and now my Faderport 1 doesnt work properly with either CbB or Platinum but ok in studio One 3. The symptoms are no buttons working but fader and rotary work. Anyone else done this update ?. Any issues ?. would love to hear from you. Dont seem to be able to roll back or uninstall the update on my pc.

Yes, I had the 1803 update 2 weeks ago then the Cumulative Update KB4284835 a couple of days ago. All fine with my Focusrite 2i4, just the usual AD2 glitch after 1803.

Can it be assumed that you have updated and reinstalled the driver.

Check that key aftertouch recording is enabled in Sonar preferences.

aslow3 you the man when it comes to control surfaces, and your absolutely right, key aftertouch got disabled in both versions of Cakewalk. Thanks for the simple fix.

Out of curiousity, what serves key aftertouch when connecting a control surface?

Not sure it applies to other control surfaces, But Faderport uses it for button functions I believe.
