If you use CCC:

IF you use CCC or you use manual install:

Eventually as you step through the install, you'll get here

Uncheck the LANDR Online Mastering box.

Yes, you may/should/will have to remember to do this EVERY time you update (or rollback & roll forward). But if you don't want it that's a small price to pay.

Don't get me wrong. I do support that LandR become a separate installer so that I can "hide" it in CCC (if I want to).

Make Sure you Un-Check that last box 'LANDR Online Mastering'. If you leave it checked it will install it.

This process works perfectly as long as you don't install it without doing this first. Once Landr is installed your only hope is that you have a prior system restore point or image to restore.

You can run the Landr uninstall in the control panel/ programs and features but it still leaves files, several registry entries, and still shows up in Sonars utility menu.

Thanks for posting this bapu!

I'm in the 'too late camp', but good to know for when I do a fresh re-install.
Thanks

Why does this matter. Are you scared of what LANDR might do if you do not use it? There a tons of things installed with sonar that I will never use that I have not been feared to this magnitude.

I uninstalled mine.  There are registry entries left over and unless the registry entries are deleted LANDR will still show up in Sonar's Utilities dropdown menu.

LANDR obviously is for some, but not for me.

I haven't noticed any slow down with cpu power since this latest release with Landr installed.
so im not sure I would call it bloatware.
but with that being said, I try to respect everyone's opinion, so if people feel the need to uninstall it,
by all means have at it. but im not worried about it.

best,
Chuck
