Fresh installation of windows 8.1 ( I hate the intrusiveness of windows 10) and trying to reinstall everything. All is good except for nightmare of Melodyne. I installed via Command centre version 2. I try to install with my license but then get told that there is an error Server error code:113 can anybody help me on this? Much appreciated in advance

I would not use the Command Center for a Melodyne installation. It is better to log into your Celemony account and download/manage it from there.

Thanks for the info. I uninstalled my version of melodyne, went to the Celemony website and downloaded melodyne from there. Curious thing is that I thought Sonar was using Essentials 2 (which had the problem with the license) From the Celemony website, I downloaded  Essentials 4! It seems to work - is this correct? Am I now licensed to use version 4 as opposed to version 2? Or am I utterly confused! :)

Hi. Celemony offers a free upgrade from Melodyne 2 (at least for Essential)  to Melodyne 4. I downloaded and installed it without any problems.
All the best.

Celemony offers the upgrade to Melodyne Essential 4 to all users of Melodyne Essential, active SONAR membership not required.

But SONAR does get you Melodyne 2, which gets you Melodyne 4.

I don't have a Sonar subscription (running X3 Studio) and I upgraded my Melodyne Assistant from 2 to 4 for free.
