Can you do another image of the drivers tab, this time with DPC count column sorted highest to lowest?
I notice some are offscreen, just sorting should resolve it...
Thx...

This after mixing around 30 minutes.

I'm not meaning to be an alarmist, but I'm not sure Windows 10 is a good enough OS for Pro Audio at this point.

I've disabled so many things! There isn't much left to turn off.

I know my machine rocked in Windows 8 and 8.1.

I suppose I should pull up my laptop that I also setup for Windows 10 and monitor that too, but it's more likely to have issues.

So, anyway, to my friends here, I say proceed with caution.

Update your display drivers. Try disabling your network adapter (right click... Disable). Try unplugging USB devices whilst monitoring latency mon. Ta

Alex,

I give you a nod of respect. Thanks for staying with me.

As you point out, it can't hurt to keep at it.

I have unplugged my touch screen. Mouse, Keyboard and interface are still plugged in. I'm looking for the next spike.

if I get one, I'll move on to disable Network Card.

I've already gotten a spike....

Now the network card.

With network disabled for 2 hours (?) I didn't get a spike.

I mixed this...

So I re-enabled the card and went poking around properties of the NIC.

I double clicked the Network Card in Device Manager and found Power Management and disabled Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Let's see if that does the trick.

I would be VERY surprised if that was not the problem all along.

I've been wrong before.

;)

I recently got a semi spike, but not too horrible. Not sure if it was related to me closing apps before dinner.

I'm leaving it running during dinner in hopes of a good outcome.
