I'll have a chance to use one this week and decide to buy it for a really nice price, but thought I'd ask here if anyone has any opinions.
 
Anybody use one enough to formulate likes/dislikes?

An excellent microphone by all accounts.  A top choice for instrumental recording.  Not a bad voice mic either.  

Thanks.  The guy I'll probably get it from used it today and said he liked it (along w/ an MTG SDC).  I told him I hope he doesn't like it too much and want to keep it.

I had a singer songwriter over last night with acoustic guitar.  Put the mic on, in front, about 1/2 way between her guitar and mouth.  Absolute bliss.  Not only did it sound full and crystal clear, it was very simple to find a sweet spot.  That is one thing, I've found, that great hardware will do.  Make your job easy as pie.  It is just not a matter of 1% quality (which is nice but nobody but engineers appreciate on a track by track basis - only on the final result).  The mic is very very smooth in my room in comparison to a Joly Mod Oktava 319, which ain't no slouch.
