Very unlikely.
You can run bootcamp on your Mac though.

Any reason you want to switch to Mac? Other than that they look pretty and you'd like to spend more money?

honestly the look is one of the main things i mite be switching for and i heard alot of good stuff about mac and its pretty straight forward os if anything as simple is the iphone ios i will definatly switch but so far the sonar program has me second guessing my switch because i enjoyed it so much

Make your choice based on the program you like. The OS shouldn't enter into it.

They're good computers. They're just expensive. If you buy a PC there a lots of budget/crap options. Mac doesn't really have truly bad options. But you can definitely buy similar spec-ed PC hardware for much less. If you plan on using Sonar it would be a waste to buy a Mac and then always run bootcamp. There are a few vendors on here that build custom PCs if Sonar is your main use of the machine.

If you do really plan on switching, you should check out Cubase. Of all the other DAWs it's probably most similar to Sonar in workflow/functionality and it is fully cross-platform.

Yeah, and I've heard a lot of bad stuff as well.

In all honesty, there is very little difference between the 2 platforms these days - there are no major bugs or showstoppers in either OS, but please don't think Macs are problem free - just have a look at their forums if you want confirmation.

But hopefully Sonar will stay as Windows only. I for one would not want Cakewalk to divert resources away from this model they're developing in order to satisfy what would be a small minority of users.

yea i have no doubt mac has its own problems but i just really like the design and simplicity of macs i was going to switch to mac when fl studio was fully native on osx but yea im second guessing because i really like the sonar demo im using sonar for strictly mixing beats and recording vocals i guess since desgine and looks are important for me i could always go with razer blade but thanks for all yall opinion

Once you're running in full screen mode the only difference between the two would be cost of hardware and the use of 'cmd' instead of 'ctrl'

Agreed, Karyn. Once you boot a program the OS becomes more or less irrelevant.
