Thanks Ed! I haven't worked on replacing the drums yet, I'm usually reluctant to revisit a project once it's "finished". In this case though I think I'm going to, and I'm going to try to get it started this weekend.
And I've heard many of your projects that were 4 and 5 star worthy.

Nice! Agree about the snare sound. Disagree about the loss of energy during the piano solo. Yeah, it's less filled up but, this sort of thing happens in blues. Drops a bit when the piano solos, builds back up when the guitar enters..... works just fine, to me. Adds interest, draws you in. Nice job!
Thank you Rod, I also agree about the snare sound. And the piano solo, as you said, was meant to have a bit of a drop in fullness; to me it calls more attention to it.

Yes the drums are very old school drum machine and far from sounding real. Certainly a re mix with better samples and a bit more dynamics would rectify the low quality of the drums. Otherwise good job!

I like the song! I do agree with the drum part...I think maybe the piano solo could have been louder itself. The guitar rocks (wish I could play like that!) Can you post the song with the new AD replacement? I for one would love to hear it.
Also I Love the vocals. What kind of Mike/processing did you do there? Nice clear (without too much reverb) and focused. Even at the end when all instruments come in.

The vocal was recorded with an MXL V63M condenser mic (VERY inexpensive, I think I paid $90 bucks for it) directly into SONAR. At the time I recorded this I was probably still using the V64 Vocal plugin that comes with SONAR to process it.
