No "Insert Above / Insert Below Current Track"?
"Top / Bottom of current folder"?
"As First / As Last track in project"?
It's the housekeeping afterwards that's time consuming.
"Clone Track" at least has a "Starting Track" option.

I agree that this should be an option in advanced.
All the best.

Maybe in a future upate.  At least there's now an easy place to put the options, and the code has to be pretty easy.
I like the idea.

There is already "+" button in the rack to do the same, with more properties in "Insert Soft Synth Options".

Not really. You cannot insert 10 instances of the same synth and organize them within a folder from synth rack.
I also have some suggestions for Synth Rack improvements here:

Another way to do something that's already pretty easy. Meh, sorry.

As long as there's a way to disable it. I work mobile on a laptop.  I need all the screen real-estate I can get for more immediate things.

Quick and easy but doubt if it will change my old school seasoned way of workflow.

Good for new Users. Something as an Old User that I probably wont use.

...Good for new Users...

A new user clicks the button and inserts these 99 tracks but wants them elsewhere.

1) The user is so new not to know about clicking Insert > Audio Track.
2) Sonar only lets you drag-drop one track at a time.

How is the new user going to reposition the tracks?
Sonar has it's usability issues, but they lie elsewhere.

Edit: Sorry, I agree with your observation, I just needed the quote to get my point across.

The feature doesn't add any screen real-estate to SONAR's interface. It minimizes down to an + button when the track pane is shifted to the left. Once it's open, it disappears when you click away.

Exactly, you guys have your own slick ways of using SONAR. New users will have the ability to insert new tracks easily.

Nice I like this.
Hope I can use a keystroke to open it (I probably will if I look hard enough, or if someone tells me)
Seems easier to get a hold of for new users as well.
All the best.

SHIFT + INSERT should open and close the menu.
