Since this seems to be the only possible way of contacting anyone even slightly affiliated with Cakewalk, I shall post here.
I have just downloaded and installed the demo for Sonar Professional with the naive goal of actually producing some music only to find a small glitch, which should not be a problem except for the fact that I have NO resources whatsoever to find any diagnosis since Demo support is not offered.
I have to assume therefore that the product does not work and will not purchase it
I thought perhaps cakewalk may have improved there customer service since I last tried a product but if anything it is worse, especially as now no user guides at all are downloadable.
Goodbye.

If you stated what the problem was, people here would be more than willing to offer support and probably solve your problem, as they have for countless others. Give it a try.

We don't need no stinking bait?

Hi, and welcome to this forum. As Craig said, more information is needed to help you with your issues. The more info you can provide, the bigger the chance for someone to pinpoint your issues (and help you).
All the best.

Yanno... in cases like this just send the OP a PM asking them what the problem is (just in case they actually DO want help) and lock the thread until they respond with an actual question. Don't let it fester and waste everyone's time.

If it's legit, post the question and unlock the thread.

Threads like this provide nothing of value to the forum.

There's been a rash of books over the last few years by producers and engineers. Some of the real greats. Glyn Johns. Ken Scott. Nile Rodgers. I'm a big fan of these books.

And I've really noticed a common theme. All of the real masters of the craft got their start by downloading a demo of something, giving it 20 minutes, and thinking "screw this". In all cases, the seed of the dedication to the craft, the understanding of the toil and commitment it would take, was planted in that moment.

Now that was truly funny!! See Beepster, this thread did provide something of value...it's been one of those 12-hour workdays, I needed a laugh
