  • How do I find and clean out non-functioning plugins from my folders?

Occasionally, as I install a new plugin in a folder, I find several plugins that Cakewalk wasn't happy with. I'd like to delete anything that isn't recognized by Cakewalk just for cleanliness's sake, not to mention the receiving the dread "This Plugin Isn't Working, so we're going to shut down your project... Hope you saved it" error message.

Is there a report function that tells me which plugins didn't take after a scan?

Thx

Cakewalk Plugin-Manager:
Manage Exclusion List -> Show Excluded

What is needed is a way to access the Plugin-Manager's list.
Anyone know if it saves it in a file?

Look for a posting by "mudgel" and click on the link underneath with all the user tools.
There may be a tool there that might at least help half-way.

But I don't think there is any tool that can test a plug and find out if Sonar likes it or not.
I have always had to weed out bad plugs manually.

It is only saved in the windows registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\ExcludedPlugIns

In the studio / software forum, there is a sticky post with a list of utilities for Sonar. There are one or two there that may help.
