  • When will SONAR Platinum at least have a simple pitch[varispeed] control? (p.2)

Hmmm over 3hrs,and not even a Bleep?

A lot of us were asleep .  And many will be sleeping in this morning [evening] since it's a holiday in the US.
Expect a quiet moment for a few hours more.

It would probably be more useful to play with pitch and speed at the clip/track level rather than the entire project.
Maybe something like Image Line's Edison ?

Edison, looks very intriguing Thanks.

Thank You for steering me back to where I was sure I had indeed glimpsed your solution, also  what about "Jack Endino's Comments" that PT way back to 5[?] could do it?
Any Truth in that?

I'm 99% sure it's the same principle as what I described above where you can change pitch but not preserve duration, which SONAR has been able to do since Version 1 back in 2000.

+1 to the complexity, and I think a portion of this is baking versus a real-time effect, but still complex when you add more pieces to the puzzle.

The OP's comment on BPM does bother me, as RiffStation is often on-the-money, but AudioSnap is not. I put a feature request in a while ago to put an audio microscope (similar to how the Drum Replacer works actually) in AudioSnap just because I had picked up RiffStation and was impressed with that capability there. AFAICT, the difference is RiffStation seems to have audio microscopes hard coded into the bpm algorithm, but could be wrong in this assumption.

Gotcha!,by the way Week 35 Latency Improvement Tip for Windows, really improved my N.I. KA6 at 64 samples,on my Lenovo W540,with the Quadro K 1000 M,I disabled the "High Definition Audio Controller" in System Devices in Device Manager, and after a reboot I now get slightly better the round trip latency I was getting at 32 samples,at a more stable 64 samples,so Thank You again!
