Ok its not the pedal as its working on my keyboard, and with Reason, but stopped working with Sonar and any vsti. which probably means I've ticked or un-ticked something. Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks

If it stopped working with live MIDI input, I can't think what could cause that right offhand. If it's working during live performance, but stopped getting recorded and played back, go to Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording, and make sure 'Controller' is checked for recording.

If it's not working with live MIDI input from the keyboard, you'll need to tell us a little more about how the project is set up, incliuding MIDI port and channel I/O assignments and what synth/patch you're using.

Thanks for your reply, but it is live input, if I load dimension into Sonar x2 for example, plays ok till i press sustain then hitting keys with peddle pressed I get no sound.
Load dimension stand alone and it all work as you would expect. same aplies to any vsti's

Thanks Roy

Strange. What gets recorded in Event list, and does it play back as expected? Have you restarted your PC since this started happening?

Is really odd and I'm beginning to think a Windows update may have damaged something that Sonar relies on. May need to try rolling the computer back to earlier time. If I drag and drop midi in a track and add some control 64's they work fine. With midi monitor the sustain pedal shows up. Just not when playing through Sonar can't record sustain at all with pedal.
Thanks Roy
