Hi guys,

Thanks for reading my thread. I would like to create a nice library of effects and other sorts of random noises. Ideally what I would do is play my MIDI keyboard through Z3ta and and have it record the audio in real-time, that way I can move fast. Is there any way to do this instead of inputting the MIDI data and then selecting the region and Bouncing to New Track? Can I just record a synth while playing just as I would record a miked guitar? Thanks in advance.

I would record directly into one of the Cakewalk Microhosts.  You're still going to have to edit the samples down afterwards.  You may find some helpful info here, and the linked .pdfs in it.

Personally i would drive this from a DAW, or a keyboard controller where you can assign fixed velocity.. this will make sample editing much easier ..
