It seems like Neutron 1 was just released pretty recently.  I bought it just a few months ago.
I like the whole concept of the O8N2 combo, with both programs working together for a better mix/master.
I just wish there was a better upgrade pricing for people who own Ozone 7, and who just recently purchased Neutron 1.
Honestly I haven't used Neutron much since buying it.  I know what it's capable of, but it seems that there's more work involved than worth the final results.  And the results are often not I wanted or expected, and that I'd be better off just choosing a preset and working from there.

But I am considering upgrading to Ozone 8, there are some new features that I'm interested in.  There's demo versions of both Ozone 8 and Neutron 2 that I'm definitely going to check out to see (and hear) them in action.

In interested in the "AI" angle they're taking. I needed Ozone anyway, so I'll pick it up. Hoping for a more in depth article, such as an SOS review, before I pick up the package. The "rent to own" is awesome.

Sounds fun, but I can't justify $149 for the upgrade. Hopefully, there'll be a sale down the road.

Yeah I'm kind of flip-flopping between the Ozone upgrade and a new sampled guitar by Orange Tree Samples, for $20 less.  I think I'll get more use out of the guitar since I already own Ozone 7 advanced, and that works just fine for me for mastering.  Maybe next month....

I hear ya, Lee. Too much cool stuff vying for our dollars. And it's only gonna get worse from now through Black Friday to XMas.

There is only one solution.

Request a credit line increase.

Pfft. I've been working all year to pay down my CC, which was over $20k after my burglary and settling my late wife's hospital charges. I've got it down to $6k now, by transferring to a 6-months no-interest card at my credit union and then dumping every spare dime into it.

I hope to zero it out by Xmas, but then, well, it's Xmas.

They get you every time. Especially at Xmas.

But come Black Friday it's downhill from there.
