Hey there, again.
So, I have the good old CME UF5 MIDI Keyboard Controller in my setup. It's an older keyboard, with no driver support for newer versions of Windows, so I can't "USB" it, but it has MIDI Output, which I plug into my Tascam US-144 MkII Interface's MIDI Input.
The Keyboard and basic/standard controllers all work fine, but the additional sliders, knobs, and sequencer-transport buttons don't work. I know I need to set this Controller up in Sonar X3, and I looked into "Cakewalk Generic Surface" as well as the basic "ACT Controller." I saw preset files for many controllers, but nothing for this CME UF5. So, I know, and accept, I'm on my own....
But jeez, man.... I'm no dummy, but trying to get this Controller working in Sonar is a royal, complicated pain!!! Help wasn't a whole lot of help, either...
So, I'm looking for guidance here. What's the easiest way to get the full functionality of this Controller into Sonar X3e?
I do have the Manual for the Controller, but, it isn't a whole lot of help in this department, either. I'm sure there's got to be a place on this site somewhere that outlays and details how to go about getting a Controller working in Sonar.... right??
I'll do some digging around, but any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
