Haven't read through the entire thread, only the first page, but I must say.... I can totally see why people thought it was a monthly update thing.  It doesn't matter to me because Platinum is already worth the $99 even without the updates to be honest.  But, it does seem like that's what was being said.

Hi
I uninstalled the Command Centre and went to the Cakewalk command  Centre Download.
I then downloaded the latest Command Centre ,which still took an eternity and then downloaded Manchester and that was faster.

all the best

My only complaint with this whole thing is actually the Command Center.  I think it's designed so terribly.  I don't know about anyone else, but there's nothing to tell you how long your download is taking or when it's finished.

Are you talking about the actual CCC download or the connected Cakewalk Products?

I mean, when you open Command Center and install Platinum or one of the updates or really anything at all.... there's nothing to tell you the progress.  It's annoying.  Plus, half the time, an error comes up, "Something went wrong" or whatever it says.

Started up Command centre and It tells me I need an update for It .
I press yes.
I have connection ok and it Is about 10 minutes gone on my I7 multicore computer and I have still got 0%.
Tried a few times, got connection but nothing coming down the line.Manchester will have to wait.

You should try manually downloading the Command Center and install that.
Shut down your current CCC before doing anything.

Actually... these last few posts made me think of something I would REALLY like.

How about a CCC "lite" for offliners. Just a little utility/widget that you can update, it does a scan of your drives (which you can point it to), then it tells you what has been updated or is new/missing.

Then with that info we can manually download what we want from our accounts as we desire.

I know that's KIND of how CCC already works but really all I want is a reference for product names, release dates and version numbers so I can use Firefox to download this stuff then install it manually... like I have always done.

Have to disagree.
I'm currently updating one of my machines and there's an orange progress bar at the bottom of the CCC informing the user of the % complete.
In addition to that, there's an additional Setup Extraction Progress Bar which kicks in when downloading is complete.

This has been part of the CCC since it's inception.

And, FWIW, I have never seen an error message.

CCC bug. If verbose mode is selected and then CCC updates itself, verbose mode will become unselected afterwards.

I've re-checked verbose...although I've never understood what it does?
To answer my own question...My Melodyne Editor is just fine. I went to the Celemony page and my only option is to upgrade Melodyne to Editor 4 or Studio 4.

There was an update for both Rapture Session and Pro. I also did the update to Manchester and that went forward without a hitch. However, the update to Pro, currently seems stuck in a loop of some kind. It says it's installing it but has been doing so for the last 10 minutes or so. What should I do?

EDIT - okay, sorry missed the install window waiting for me to click on it...all good.
