As it had been removed from the comparison chart, and nothing was on their help file, I emailed them. The reply was simply
"Melodyne studio 4 does not offer this feature. "

yeah it's a step in the wrong direction for me, I would have linked to see them take it further. I can see with their new harmonic stuff, that they would be able to track the volume and hamonic changes and send that stufff too. Making it possible to play a wind instrument such as a sax, convert it, and have the midi play something like Samplemodelling wind or brass controlling  pitchbend and expression, so that no further editing would be involved. Then changing the changing just the notes played in PRV to play harmonies to the original recording.

I never used Studio 2, so I don't know how successful pitch bend was, but if it was working, I can't fathom why you'd remove the function. Should have been enhanced IMO.

C3 has come a long way since it first came out. Might want to give it a second chance. ;)

It has improved however its handling of dropped internet connection still results in complete loss of the data downloaded so far and has to start over.

For most people with a fast and stable internet this is fine. For the rest of us its a waste of time and bandwidth. For this reason I download direct from my account at the store using Firefox. If the download fails I can restart the download right where it left off.

Once the download is complete I copy it into the folder that CCC expects it to be in then use CCC to validate, install and activate.

Cheers

Tom we share the same internet (and weather, man it was cold last week) I believe, and I've not had any issues with CCC. I wouldn't rule it out.

Also one can use DAP [Download Accelerator Plus]. I use that and has resume option.
