Hello, I am new to this forum and also pretty new to DAW software so sorry for beginners questions.
I found this problem, when I load Rhapsody Orchestral Colors library, in Kontackt it only works a few seconds then it stop working.
It is very frustrating, as long I keep playing the library work, but when I stop playing it won' work any more.  The interfase still display normal.

I am using latest release of Kontackt, and Sonar Pro.
When I load the same library in Standalone mode with Kontackt I don't have problems, only when it is loaded within Sonar.

Also, I have two Hard drives, one is a solid state (C drive) and the other one a regular spinning (D drive), when Installed Sonar and all VST plugins I point them to the second disk, because low space in my main C drive (SSD) will this create any problems with Sonar?
Your help is appreciated.

My hardware is Intel i7, 32 RAM Windows 10 Pro

If you have Dynamics set to be controlled by CC1 (modulation), try moving your mod wheel. If that's it you should record a CC1 message ate the start of each track so it initializes the volume.

How much time is passing when you stop playing until the next time you try to play and it fails? IOW, is it possible your CPU's low-power settings are kicking in or is your PC going to sleep? Some USB interfaces have difficulty coming out of sleep mode, and low-power mode will generally cause problems with a DAW.

Just saw David's post and he could be right. That is a typical thing users run into with some libraries.

Welcome to the forum! As you have seen it is filled with helpful, solutions-oriented people. Thank you for letting us know their suggestions worked. When a user has a problem solved, it's standard to put [Solved] in the thread title. I'll take care of that for you.

Again, welcome and I hope you make some great music!

Glad you solved it!
Also, be aware that I think Sonar's default behavior is to reset all controllers when you stop playback. If this doesn't fit your work flow, you can turn that behavior off.

Yes I noticed that, and really it does not work for me that way, I guess that can be changed on properties or something, I'll dig up and see if I can find it.
Thanks for the tips.  Lots to learn ;)

Sorry about the title, I'll keep in mid for next time ;)
