The dialog box never opens to select anything. I installed X3 on my laptop and the dialog box opens regardless if it's a blank project or audio loaded/recorded.

So it may be a PC program buning situation or the way Sonar is installed on each PC/Laptop. what are the default burning programs for each?

I use Nero Burn on both.
 
 The only thing I can think of is that I changed the project audio folder to a different drive, but wouldn't make sense considering you choose the file locations in the program.

Ok a couple questions. I have several songs recorded in Platinum that I want to upload to Soundcloud and burn a cd of the material. Do I set all my levels and mix the tracks down to a master track to burn or upload ? How is this done? I used to record on a AW16g set the mix and burn a CD on the stereo track that I could play or upload from.
 

The most practical way to go is to export 16bit/44,1 kHz wavs (mixed/mastered the way you wish) of your projects and then burn the CD's and proceed with the upload.
