If you are running Windows10 and have a crappy interface... perhaps (MS did a bunch of tweaks to their audio drivers). They are claiming it MAY be able to even compete with ASIO but IDK.
If you are running ASIO4ALL with not proper interface... again you may get better results.
But for now... ASIO is, and always has been since it's creation, the superior driver mode when a proper ASIO interface (and it's drivers) are installed.
However for those forced to use alternate modes due to a lack of proper ASIO drivers... try to use WDM (or WASAPI) and then KS (Kernal Stream). Those are the ones that will provide lower latency/better quality.
MME will cause ridiculous latency and is ancient.
I am not a tech. This is just a bunch of crap I've learned. Could be wrong but most source seem to concur.
