OK...

I had already manually installed Manchester...
I manually downloaded and tried CC update yesterday but the file claimed corrupt, so this morning,
I manually downloaded the CC update and placed it in the CC downloads folder (over writing the corrupt version)

I ran the older CC and when it prompted to update I clicked yes...

It showed the downloading strip at the bottom percentage 0.00 and stayed there.... Just as it did the other day...
So, I stopped it and attempted to manually run the update only to find again the file reports as corrupted....
I copied the same file (this morning's download) over the copy placed in the downloads folder earlier and went directly to...
Manually install CC update...

Manually running the update worked fine...

So this leads me to believe that for some of us, running the older CC and allowing it to update itself, is corrupting the downloaded file...?

I had also run this update successfully on my DAW where I ran it manually as I'm not web connected there anyway... So I didn't run into it there...

Uncomfortable.... and it somehow has dumped me into Demo mode! <sigh> (another thread)

I noticed the same thing but did not attempt to stop the process and let it continue.
Eventually, it updated the CCC (without the % bar moving) with no intervention from me.

How long did that take?

I waited quite some time (20 minutes or so)

But, no matteer... I have it now.... Maybe a little glitch in the system?

It took quite awhile to upgrade mine, but it was successful. The longest part was updating the .Net framework...

Updating the CCC has never showed progress (percent).  It takes a while to do, half hour or so, but does complete.  It has never failed for me, FWIW.

CCC blew up on me again (just like for the last update) when it tried to update itself with this latest version.

However, it takes about 30 seconds to manually download the latest CCC from Cakewalk, then another 30 seconds to install it so there's little point to update within the CCC.

Some of your download times are unbelievable.
