I went to use Melodyne for the first time and had to go through upgrade to 4 and activation first (all seems successful). When I select a part of an audio recording and go to Region Effects > Melodyne > Create Region FX, the part of the wave I selected appears to get processed, then a window starts to launch at the bottom but disappears. Certainly not working like the "SONAR Get Started: Melodyne Essential" video I saw on Youtube.
 
Any help would be appreciated.

I use X3 Producer and Melodyne Studio 4.
At least we are not alone... I hope it will help for a quick solution !

Have you tried to contact Celemony regarding this? It is worth doing, since as far as I can tell, Melodyne 4 replaces Melodyne 2, making 2 "not an option." I am now fearing this "upgrade" because of threads like this.
 
The only info I read on Melodyne 4 was that it was tested on SONAR Platinum - Foxboro. I have not searched for more details, but I am also concerned that X3 (or the past 6 versions of SONAR 2015) wasn't in the testing schema.
 
When you get an opportunity, please shoot Celemony's support an email and let us know when they respond.

Which came out in March of 2014! 

Solved mine too. I needed to uninstall Melodyne 4 before the X3e patch.

If it is not broken, don't need to fix it !
... until it becomes necessary 😉
