Did anyone get an email from Celemony for the free upgrade to Melodyn Essentials 4? Reason I ask is I did and when I went to upgrade I had to fill in my CC information but they said my card would not be charged. That's not true at all. Celemony tried to charge $399 to my CC. The charge never went through. My bank locked the card and I'm keeping it locked until I find out what is going on. I sent an email to tech support and am waiting for their reply but thought I'd ask here too.

hey keni, just log in to your celemony account, convert the v2 license to v4 if you haven't already, and download the v4 zip file :-)

Hrm, did we get that with our SONAR purchase? I don't recall setting up a Celemony account.
 

You had to create a Celemony account to register Melodyne Essential.

I don't remember setting up the account either. However - like me, you will have received the serial number for 2.x from Celemony in your email to register Melodyne 2.x. So, go to www.celemony.com and login. No doubt you'll need to click "forget password" so go through that routine. Then you can login and you'll see your Melodyne 2.x entry on the page. It also tells you a free update is available. So go through that routine,  et .. voila - a download for V4 will become available. Download and you're on your way.

That's good news... Now I have only to remember the login (been a long time already)... I'll get that together and then do the conversion and download....
 
Does this lose the license for v2? Will any non-rendered corrections still apear correctly after the update?

v4 replaces v2 yes, and IN THEORY is backwards compatible, i haven't got round to installing it yet so can't say for sure! good luck :-)
