v4 replaces v2 yes, and IN THEORY is backwards compatible, i haven't got round to installing it yet so can't say for sure! good luck :-)

I went to do the login... Did a password reset and logged in... I see where to perform the update, but it appears to want to be on the machine being installed on... I don't see where it will allow for a download that can be installed elsewhere...?

mine's right there in the license overview, next to the serial number, a big orange "download" button...

I didn't see that... Maybe you have to apply the license conversion before that comes visible. I can't download until 3-8am pacific (satellite isp), so I didn't want to disable the current version until I actually do the download...

yeah i think you have to convert the license first to get the v4 download
