I have melodyne editor2.0 installed. never installed melodyne essential-it is and always has been in my CCC and products. but I don't see version 4?
I am thinking it's because of the above. so do I need to uninstall melodyne editor 2.0, install essential 1.07 and then it appears? Personally if it's offered I should have it-.I certainly got it , just never used it. confusing? really wish I could keep editor 2 to check out what I will lose.. full version installed and still install essential, but hey-whatever
Thanks
Frank

. . . since you apparently don't need the melodyne essential 4 upgrade, maybe they would give you something else, perhaps a free Cakewalk coffee mug ?

Why wouldn't I need it? It may have some new version 4 stuff in it which my editor 2 version doesn't? According to Melodyne site essential 4 does NOT have audio to midi. Unless the CW version is special-which it very well may be.
Is this like an attempt at humor? real helpful - thanks

There is not much CW can do. Melodyne 4 replaces Melodyne 2. If you had Melodyne before acquiring the license bundled with SONAR I believe you may sell it. Then apply the proceeds to upgrade Editor.

sorry, didn't think you were asking for help
I upgraded to Melodyne Studio 4, and I also only see Melodyne Essential 1.07 only in the Command Center.
I don't think it's possible to run version 2 and 4 together at the same time.
Someone in another thread stated you can only run version 3 and 4 together.

You mean sell essential 1.07? I'm confused. Shouldn't I be entitled to essential 4? Just askin... I never installed or used the CCW essential version-already had a better version.

FWIW 1.07 refers to the Cakewalk installer version. Melodyne 2 Essential was the version bundled with SONAR. The upgrade for ALL Melodyne Essential users to Melodyne 4 Essential is free. Upgrades to other versions are not free. As I wrote above, if you had a Melodyne license before getting Melodyne Essential bundled with SONAR, you may sell the  license. If, on the other hand, you did not have Melodyne before getting the version bundled with SONAR and used the Melodyne Essential license bundled with SONAR to upgrade to Editor then your upgrade path is a paid upgrade. I don't think you would want give up the Editor 2 features to use the free Essential 4 (assuming Celemony allowed it).

As far as it went for me was that I got an e-mail to upgrade Melodyne to 4. You have to go to the celemony site and log into your account. There you will find the update.
Updating Melodyne has nothing to do with CCC. The first melodyne download were instructions to go to their site and register the code of the first melodyne.
Melodyne can only be upgraded at Celemony with your account.
