This happens to me all the time.

I have a problem with Sonar that's been bugging me for a while. So I decide to open a thread here to ask about it, and the very act of typing it out gives me an idea what I should try and I try that and it works and so I cancel my thread entry.

That just happened again. Hilarious.

This is pretty common. In the process of formulating a question that will not make you look either lazy (RTFM) or stupid, you start analyzing the situation. Just organizing your problem into a coherent written form will often reveal the answer. Creating a clear statement of the problem is often harder than solving it, and the two processes are not really different at the root.

Unfortunately, that is rarely the case with we and Sonar... In small number of cases, once I manage to formulate the problem I can find it in the forum. In some cases I believe I am just stupid noob so I can not get it right (like transient detection in Sonar... all versions I used). In most other cases I realize that no one is going to understand the problem and no one is interested to get the solution. But the last case is specific to my unusual Sonar activities
